Mobilephonenerd's latest survey suggests we spend an average of £15 everytime we go abroad. Depending on how you use your phone this figure could be slashed. Also recent changes to the way we are charged in Europe at least suggests this figure could be driven down even further.
Poor customer service was one of the main factors for moving away to another network according to our survey. It can leave a sour taste in our mouth and make us reluctant to return. Considering how much we pay per year for our mobiles and contracts we should be entitled to a little respect, especially when you know they are in the wrong. Sadly according to a recent Which? survey 44% of us have never switched providers. Furthermore 48% of those who recently did switch said they were spending less now than with their previous supplier. Mobilephonenerd's survey suggested though that 75% of us were willing to switch provider as long as the deal was better. 25% of users surveyed by mobilephonenerd.com were on pay as you go spending on average £10 a month. While this might not seem a lot to their contract owning friends, £10 in terms of value for many is far worse than contracts. We summarise the best pay as you go deals out there and suggest £10/less contract deals, including a phone, without catches.
