Attention all crazy callers and manic texters! Do you like Three’s tariffs but put off by their poor customer service? T-mobile recently launched their full monty plan to rival Three’s One plan. Three
have offered the One plan for quite a while now with 2000 minutes, 5000 texts and Unlimited internet for a mere £35/month on a 24 Month contract it arguably offers one of the best plans on the market. This includes many of their phones for free and the iPhone 4S for £99. This deal is actually one of the better tariffs for the iPhone 4S reviewed by us here.
One problem though: Three have consistently underperformed in terms of signal and customer satisfaction, which was highlighted again in a recent OFCOM report which we discussed in our page “Customer service review” from Sam Swan.
Many of us would like the tariffs 3 offer us, but are put off by their well known signal issues or poor customer service. Here comes the solution: T-Mobile’s full monty plan.
Almost matching Three’s offer the full monty tariff offers: 2000 minutes, unlimited texts 1GB of internet plus unlimited T-mobile minutes for £36/month on a 24 contract. T-Mobile also match Three’s offer of a £99 upfront cost for the iPhone 4 S. Other (free) phones include the critically acclaimed Nokia Lumia 800 (we review here thanks to Selina Dee).
If you’ve never been on T-mobile there are many positives which include having recently merged with Orange to create “Everything everywhere” they now share signal with Orange. This means if you have Orange signal in your house but no T-mobile signal, it will use the Orange signal instead. Mobilephonenerd.com viewers have discussed the improved signal since the switch over almost a year ago. T-mobile also lies in the middle of the customer service review by OFCOM, still significantly better customer service than Three.
We summarise below the deals T-mobile and Three offer using their One plan and Full Monty plan.
Finally, we always recommend double checking to see if you have the right signal in your house and playing around with the phone first before buying. We hope you return through us when you make your purchase!

Good Luck!
